CLAIBORNE FARM GIFT SHOP & VISITOR CENTER
Claiborne Farm is one of Bourbon County’s most prized gems. Established in Paris in 1910, Claiborne Farm quickly became known for its rich reputation in thoroughbred horse racing. Perhaps most well-known for its ties to Triple Crown Winner, Secretariat, Claiborne farm attracts about 11,000 visitors every year hoping to get a peek at the stallion’s resting place. While the famous hose farm welcomes tourists from all over, they encourage Bourbon Countians to visit as well!
Claiborne Farm opened its Gift Shop and Visitor Center in 2016 to help welcome guests from all over. Tours are typically offered seven days a week at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. During the January and February, tours are not offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tours are conducted by appointed only. Those interested in booking a tour can visit www.visithorsecountry.com to reserve their choice date and time. Visitors will get to see the stallions, the breeding shed, the cemetery and the beautiful rolling hills that horse county offers!
