REMINDER that tomorrow, Wednesday the 17th, will be our LAST DAY OPEN BEFORE VACATION.
We will be CLOSED from Thursday the 18th through Monday the 22nd! We will not be answering phone calls, messages, or texts until Tuesday the 23rd.
Please do NOT get miffed with the staff (me) for taking a greatly needed break, because we (I) are a delicate lil' bean and we just need to recharge the batteries for a lil' bit before we can get back to our regularly scheduled nonsense.
All that to say: If you want the chance to snag some books before we're closed for five days, you'd better hop to it! We'll be open from 10am-5pm. :D
This month will look a bit different than our usual line-up!
For starters, there will NOT be a Game Night this month. Normally, our pattern would have Game Nights on the 6th and 20th; on the 6th, the majority of downtown parking will be unavailable due to the TN River Jam's Downtown Concert. We will be open that day despite street closures starting Friday at 9pm, but as we don't want to force folks to fight the crowds or the parking difficulties, we're just not going to bother with Game Night on top of everything else- go enjoy the FREE music instead and hit up a food truck while you're at it! And of course, on the 20th, we'll be on Vacation.
That's right, the big Boss (me) decided that we've (also me) earned a short break after a whole year of hard work. We would apologize for the inconvenience, but we're honestly not sorry. That smiling, happy face y'all see every day? She needs a recharge. Mental health is a very important to keep in mind when running a business, and we can't function at our best if our Proprietress (me again!) is running ragged, so she's getting sent out into the woods for a few days of sun and fun.
(For real though, I'm super excited about this little break, and I can't WAIT to see some old friends again.)
Prior to the Vacation, we'll have two lovely events to check out!

When we return from our little adventure into wonderland, we're kicking things off with our Quarterly Clearance Sale, and this time it's going to go ALL WEEK LONG. 23th-26th from 10am-5pm we'll have tables set up and positively LOADED with Paperbacks.
