We are so proud of our community and their generosity to be a part of the Paradise Chocolate Fest legacy. Thank you to Debbie LaPlant Moseley and so many community organizations for sharing our vision.
❤️ It Started With Chocolate... It Became a Legacy. 🍫
Twenty-one years ago, Bill & Pam Hartley, owners of Joy Lyn's Candies dreamed of creating a fun community celebration centered around chocolate. What they couldn't have imagined was that their vision would grow into something that has now invested more than $460,000 in the young people of the Paradise Ridge.
This week, during Party in the Park, we had the privilege of celebrating another chapter in that remarkable story by awarding more than $21,000 to local youth-serving organizations.
As each organization stepped forward to receive its award, we were reminded that these grants are so much more than checks.
They become scholarships for students pursuing their dreams.
They become books that inspire young readers.
They become sports equipment, musical instruments, summer camp experiences, leadership opportunities, vision screenings, food assistance, outdoor adventures, and safe places where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Most importantly... they become opportunities.
None of this happens by accident.
It happens because thousands of people choose to make a difference.

🎶 Every sponsor who believed in our mission.
👑 Every Queen & King Candidate who rallied support.
Every vendor, entertainer, donor, and community partner who helped create an unforgettable day.

The Youth on the Ridge Community Foundation is deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. Because of you, the Paradise Chocolate Fest continues to be about so much more than chocolate—it is about investing in hope, strengthening our community, and creating brighter futures for the children of the Paradise Ridge.
