Last night’s dinner celebration was exactly what EJ wanted…good food, great drinks, lots of laughs, and quality time with the people who love her most. We ate crab, lobster, shrimp, oysters, edamame, corn, and potatoes (with seasoning that deserved its own award 😍).

The drinks kept showing up, the conversations kept flowing, and so did the love. The best gift wasn’t on the table it was getting these moments together. Especially the hugs and photos…because if you know EJ, you know that’s a rare treat. ❤️

Happy Birthday, my beautiful baby. Here’s to more laughter, more memories, and more dinners where nobody leaves hungry. We love you beyond words. 🥂🫶🏾🤎🤎

And just like that, we’re at the airport for the final goodbye… for now. ❤️

Today we dropped off my twin and his girlfriend at Ontario Airport to head back to the East Coast. The visits are never long enough, but my heart is full from the time we shared, the conversations, the laughter, and simply being together.

As a mom, you never stop missing your babies, no matter how old they get. But this isn’t goodbye forever, it’s just “see you later.”

And who knows? Maybe the next trip will be us flying out to help them choose their forever home and start the next chapter of their journey.

Until then, safe travels, my twin. Mama loves you more than you’ll ever know. ✈️❤️🏡

Today is one of those soft, full-circle kind of days. My twin is heading back to the East Coast with his girlfriend after spending quality time here. We’ve just been sitting together, catching up, laughing, talking through life… all the things that don’t always fit into the busy life. Now it’s time to start the airport run, and I already feel that quiet little shift that happens when your child is about to leave your space again. I’m going to miss my twin more than words can say.

PART II: FROM TASTING ROOM TO TABLESIDE ELEGANCE ✨

We closed out our tasting experience at with Betsey, and I genuinely thought the day had already peaked.

I was wrong.

From the tasting room, we transitioned into dinner and the entire energy softened into something more intimate, more elevated… more unforgettable.

Drinks still flowing. Conversations still easy. That natural rhythm of connection just carried beautifully into the evening.

And then came the moment.

Tableside paella prepared right in front of us.

Not just any paella… this one was layered with lobster, steak, and rich, bold flavor that immediately set the tone for the rest of the night. The kind of dish that turns heads before it even hits the table.

It was theatrical in the best way, warm, aromatic, and deeply comforting while still feeling luxurious and intentional.

Every bite felt like it belonged to a moment you were supposed to slow down for.

We also enjoyed beautifully prepared appetizers leading into dinner, each one setting the stage for what was clearly a thoughtfully curated culinary experience.

This is what Europa Village does so well, it doesn’t just serve food and wine… it creates a flow of experience. From tasting to table, everything feels connected, seamless, and genuinely crafted with care.

Before heading out, we also purchased a few bottles from the tasting room because of course we couldn’t leave without bringing a piece of the experience home with us.

As the evening came to a close, we made our way back home still talking, still laughing, still replaying every part of the day like we had just stepped out of a little European escape tucked inside Temecula.

A full-circle kind of beautiful.
