Bryce Canyon's high elevation, clean air, and remote location create some of the darkest skies in the country. As an International Dark Sky Park, you can see thousands of stars and the spectacular band of the Milky Way Galaxy shooting across the sky. Join us for the annual Astronomy Festival June 11-13 and give yourself the gift of gazing at these incredible night skies. Tickets for each evening's speakers are free and available at the visitor center. The telescope field will be open from 10pm to midnight. Access to the telescope field is best with the Star Shuttle, with parking in Bryce Canyon City and shuttle to and from the telescope field during those hours.
