I try to keep my packaging simple yet also not bare bones. For my hoops I wrap them in tissue paper, tape on a thank you note & biz card, then tie with some string. I put them in a cellophane protective sleeve so if the box gets wet then the piece will still be protected. And I loovveee these variable size folding boxes! I have a couple different sizes that will work for so many different hoop sizes.

All hooped up!
I finish my hoops off by gluing on some decorative card stock to the back. Some people like to leave the backs open so the “stitchy guts” can be admired. They are braver than I! I don’t cover my backs to hide the guts necessarily. It’s more for protection.
It gives me a tiny jolt of panic to think about leaving all of my work unprotected. What if some of the loose thread tails get snagged or pulled on?! It’s probably such a tiny possibility, but it still bothers me. So this is how I cope 😂
