Dear Friends and Customers,
It is with a heart full of gratitude and a bit of nostalgia that I share some news regarding the future of my business. On May 30th, Totes McGoats Body Soaps will officially be closing its doors.
This journey began back in 2012 as a small family endeavor, fueled by a passion for handmade quality and the help of our very first two goats, Wesley and Buttercup. What started as a slow, quiet venture eventually grew into something more wonderful than I could have imagined.
Whether we met at local farmers markets, shared a laugh at one of the large festivals, or caught up at our "bricks and sticks" shop in Palmyra, I have cherished every moment. I am going to truly miss our conversations—talking shop about the soap-making process and, of course, sharing stories about my goats. Your support of my online sales and your repeat business over the last 14 years has meant the world to me.
Just as this business started slowly, I am choosing to fade out in much the same way. As my children have grown and started families of their own, I’ve found my perspective shifting. With the arrival of grandchildren and new personal goals on my horizon, it is simply time for me to start doing more things for myself.
Thank you for being part of this chapter of my life. Thank you for your loyalty, your stories, and for supporting a local, family-run dream. While it is time to say goodbye to the soap studio, the memories of the community we built together will stay with me forever.
