Just in time for ShortFest, we are excited to introduce our Film Strip bags and wallets!

Made from authentic film strips, this compact shoulder bag is an easy everyday carry for movie lovers. Each bag is created from random frames, so every piece is unique.

The crocheted sides expand at the base to provide extra room, while the front pocket and long shoulder strap make it practical for daily use.

These bags are made from authentic 35mm movie film that once ran through theater projectors before the industry transitioned to digital cinema. Most films used date from 2004 to 2012 and are made from durable Mylar polyester film.

Each piece is made from a small section of a movie reel, making every bag or wallet unique. Hold it up to the light and you'll be able to see actual frames from the film.

The style names, including Tribecca, Angel, Toronto, Venice, and Cannes, are inspired by famous film festivals from around the world. The movie title used for each item is listed on its tag.

Jim Riche framed photographs of the Forever Marilyn statue by Seward Johson in its original location in Palm Springs, California. Forever Marilyn is the 26 ft. tall, 34,300 lbs. sculpture of Marilyn Monroe , inspired by the famous photograph taken by Bernard of Hollywood on the set of the film, The Seven Year Itch. The statue was acquired by PS Resorts to remain permanently in Palm Springs.

This photograph was taken by acclaimed photographer Jim Riche best summed up by his Photographic Design: A way of looking at the ordinary with a new perspective.

Print is 11 inches by 14 inches and comes framed, available in either color or black and white versions. Available in store, online, and beginning May 28 at the Some Like it Shop inside the Hyatt Palm Springs.
