It was a super fun happy time at The Sandwich Spot downtown Palm Springs for Thursday jazz nights. They stay open ‘till 9:30 and you can order from their full menu. This last Thursday they featured pulled pork sliders, potato salad and lemonade. Very tasty. And best of all Lizzie and I aka The Bossaphonics played as a four piece band until closing. Come out July 11 on Street Faire night at 7:30 for a re-run of all the fun!

Here is picture of the XL tenor ukulele that I am making custom for a player in Los Angeles. It is made from California cypress* on the back and sides with sinker redwood for the top. The cypress is from the fallen tree that grew in La Jolla, California in front of Dr Seuss’s home there. *which is milled from The Lorax Tree of Dr. Seuss books fame. How cool is that!!!?

We played a really fun show at The Sandwich Spot Palm Springs 12th anniversary on Wednesday night. A great group of friends and customers attended. Thanks to Rob Mitter who tore it up on guitar and James Gastelum who held us together on stand-up bass.
