Time to dust off the tinsel! The City of Palm Springs is about to sleigh your weekend and jingle all the way into December! 🎄

Kick things off at 4pm Friday in Frances Stevens Park with our Holiday Banner Awards, Tree Lighting & Carols — complete with hot cocoa, crafts, and Santa-level cheer. Then keep the magic glowing downtown on Saturday evening as the Festival of Lights Parade turns Palm Canyon Drive into a glittering desert sleigh ride.

This weekend is lit ✨ literally!

🇺🇸 Happy Veterans Day, Palm Springs! 🇺🇸

Today we honor the brave men and women who have served our country. In observance of Veterans Day, Palm Springs City Hall will be closed, but the celebration is happening downtown!

Join us for the 28th Annual Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade TODAY at 3:30 PM in Downtown Palm Springs — a beloved community tradition filled with pride, gratitude, and hometown spirit. Bring your family & friends, and let’s celebrate our heroes together! 🎖️🎉

The parade lasts approximately one hour and concludes with a post-parade patriotic concert and fireworks finale at the intersection of Amado Road and Palm Canyon Drive.

Please bring holiday banner art submissions by 7PM Wednesday October 29th to Crystal Fantasy, 268 N Palm Canyon Drive (across Hyatt) in downtown Palm Springs. Make sure each student’s name, teacher’s name, grade, school are listed on back of submission. We are open 10AM-7PM.
