We're So Glad

We Had This Time Together

Friends,

We regret to announce that our TreatBuddy store and website are closing permanently.

In late March, we received notice from the new owner of Rimrock Plaza that our rent would increase by more than 60%; and while we can stave off that increase for a while, that will not last long.

In addition, since reopening our store from the Covid closure we've faced many issues. Business is down and inflation is up.

There are tremendous problems with safety, security, and cleanliness at the shopping center that have forced this decision. Having seen and intervened when customers have been threatened by aggressive vagrants and pan-handlers, we've heard and echo the complaints of not feeling safe shopping here. The new landlord has been indifferent to the problems, and in fact has cut security patrols by 50% from when they purchased the complex. We don't believe we can offer the type of environment that our customers and we deserve.

So for these reasons we are closing our store in two weeks. Our last date open to the public will be Wednesday, June 15th.

The good news is that we'll focus on our Glory To Dog toys, treats and greeting cards. Check out GloryToDog.com!

Thank you for 8 wonderful years. We'll miss seeing you and your furkids, and wish you all the best.

Last Minute Gift Ideas!

It's Vets Day and here @ TreatBuddy we're celebrating the courage and sacrifice of America's Military Working dogs who fight to keep us free. To honor our canine heroes we offer this picture of the U.S. Military Working Dog Teams National Monument, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. JBSA-Lackland is the home to the Department of Defense Military Working Dog Program and is where the U.S. Armed Forces has been training its military working dog teams since 1958. It is the world's largest training center for military dogs and handlers and is also home to the largest veterinary hospital for military working dogs.

The Pet Ministry (http://petministry-ps.org/) 's Ginny Weismann and Lisa Katz joined KESQ (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srpnfLF3bAc) 's Patrick Evans for a preview of Saturday's Kitten-O-Rama with four little ones gearing up to find their fur-ever homes! Meet Bob, Harper, Palmer and Gus featured in the video, plus lots(!) of their siblings this Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm in store.

Adopt a Ball of Fluff, Get a Lifetime of Purrs, Leg Rubs and Love

Our Kitten-O-Rama last month was so successful...

But kitten season doesn't end just because it's hot, and these cuties are amazing, fun and loving animals waiting for the perfect people to adopt them. Come on by next Saturday (July 31) between 10 AM and 1 PM to hang out and fall head over tiny paws for these ready-to-go-home fur-babies.
