Here's a fully loaded Don bass that is now owned by my nephew. G&L humbuckers and an Aquilar 3 band preamp. Full 3 way series/single/parallel switching on each pickup.
Cocobolo fingerboard, maple neck, mahogany/maple/ padauk body..........and yes thats a Kern IP777 preamp with an Alembic Superfilter in the effects loop in the background.

Here's a video of me playing the "Don: bass with the Sideways Factor. Maple, ash and purpleheart loaded with Duncan ceramic Musicman pickups. All passive with series/parallel/single switch on the bridge pickup, 2 volumes controlling each neck coil, volume for bridge and tone control for all. Not a sound I can't get from this beast!

The Sideways Factor band performs covers from the 60s thru the 00s for corporate events, Festivals, Nightclubs, Private Parties etc.
