Come and learn how to mend some of your favorite clothing and textiles with visible mending.

I’ll bring a little kit for you to practice with and take home, full of a swatch of denim, needles, thread, and fun scrap fabric.

I was unsure what kind of backing I was going to put on the Forest Reflections cover quilt. My mom went shopping with me to find the quilt top fabric and when I expressed my quandary, she advised me to wait, suggesting that I would be glad I did. Moms love to say things like that.

She was right! After almost finishing the quilt top, I found Plaid- Venture Club Fisher Green, also at Warman Cozy. It was sitting close by as I taught Stitch School one day.

I’m always grateful for the input of others, especially my mom. And of course, I’m grateful for the inspiration around me at Warman Cozy!

Just a little while until Forest Reflections releases on March 12.
This quilt is versatile and I’ll show you some of the other palettes in the lead up to the release.
