A little personal share, because I know I’m not the only one—

My skin has always been super sensitive and reactive, but the last few years (hysterectomy, coming off birth control, perimenopause… all the fun things) really threw it off. Breakouts, rashes, irritation for no obvious reason. It felt like I was constantly trying to calm it down.

I’m definitely not a skincare expert—just someone who’s been figuring it out as I go. I actually came across Modern Skyn Alchemy while ordering for the shop and decided to try a moisturizer. That turned into trying a serum… and eventually it just kind of became what I reach for every day.

What I’ve noticed is my skin actually feels hydrated now, not just coated in something. It’s softer, the texture is smoother, and I’m not dealing with nearly as many breakouts. And when I do get one, it doesn’t stick around forever.

Another thing I really appreciate is that it’s approachable price-wise. Most of what I use is under $25, which made it feel a lot less overwhelming to try and stick with.

No big claims, no “this will fix everything”—just sharing what’s been feeling good on my skin lately.
