BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! We hinted we had news earlier this week and are super excited to finally announce it - starting Monday, June 1st, The Fanspired is changing it's name to Legends and Luxe Premier Collectibles!

The (slightly) shorter version: Our shop has drastically changed over the past 6 years and we felt it was time for a name that better suits what we have become.
When we started out, we were a fan shop catering to both pop culture and sports fans, the one-stop shop for all your fandoms! We sold lots of fan gear: t-shirts, socks, backpacks, mugs, jewelry, with a section of premier collectible figures and statues. As we attended more comic conventions though, the "everyday merch" we carried dwindled and the premier collectibles we were becoming known for on the con circuit became our top selling department.
Our move to Downtown Paducah has allowed us to further expand our offerings of premier collectibles. In addition to our Pops, statues, and figures, we now carry action figures, plushies, and model kits. The Downtown Paducah shop looks very different than our first room at Trends N Treasures in Murray did.
AI has also played a role in our re-branding. Since AI has taken over online searches, we are constantly popping up as one of the top "trading card shops in Paducah" even though we do NOT have trading cards of any kind. While most, if not all, trading cards are collectibles, AI has not figured out not all collectibles are trading cards. That "intelligence" and The Fanspired being a name for a fan shop is creating a real challenge for us.
While AI may not entirely figure out our collectibles aren't trading cards, we're hoping the new name will better convey to you and online searchers what and who we are today.
The name change is going to be a process. For now, we have a new website. Our socials will change on June 1st.
Also the signage at the shop in Paducah is not changing yet. Your friendly Downtown Spider-man will still greet you on the sidewalk and The Fanspired will still hang above the door. For now. We hope to get a new sign made but there's not room in the budget for one yet.
You'll be seeing a lot more of us (especially me, Sara) on here as we try to spread the word of the change and show off our inventory. We may not have trading cards but our collectibles are pretty darn cool! (I'm a millennial without kids so bare with me as I venture into the land of reels, TikTok, and lingo for folks under 40. I'm clearly not there yet.)
