This statement is a tad controversial, but...
is kinda dumb. 🙊🙈🙉
We know, we know. Simmer down and hear us out. As a greeting card company, we should be shoving our Mom cards down your throat. But the truth is, Mother’s Day can condor up all kinds of bad juju for people.
Instead, what if we all took an extra beat this Mother’s Day and after checking in with your own mom/step mom, you checked in with your homegirls? The ones who have a mom, don’t have a mom, want kids, don’t want kids, are struggling to have kids (you see where we are going, right?).
And sure, we have cards for all that (BOGO even 😉) and heck, we’ll write and send the dang thing for you, but this Mother’s Day, be a good friend and just be there, in whatever way that makes sense for you.
Because that’s what friends do. 💋
