UPDATE (6/23) Results from the most recent CCHD water sample tests are below:

Jim Tuner Access - 235.9 CFU/100 mL
Linden Lure - 122.3 CFU/100 mL

UPDATE (6/18): Today’s water sample tests show a decrease in E. Coli levels, however both testing locations are still above the recommended level for recreational use. The public advisory is still in place.

Recommended standard: < 235 CFU/100 mL
Jim Turner Access: 517.2 CFU/100 mL
Linden Lure: 686.7 CFU/100 mL

Recent storms and flooding have caused E. coli levels in the Finley River to rise significantly, according to water testing conducted by the Christian County Health Department. Out of an abundance of caution, city officials are advising the public to avoid all water activities on the Finley River until further notice.
