Happy Sunday Evening!!

I’m working on a few things and I was thinking about the things that catch my eye when thrift shopping.. the old furniture pieces.. the unique bins I can repurpose.. things like that!

But what is it that YOU guys have in mind when you go to thrift shops? Or do you just go with no set intentions?

This chest was hidden under layers of green and yellowed white paint!
We stripped and sanded, stained and sanded then painted and sanded some more! Labor of Love!

Then we created the interior picture collage of her children and grandchildren! A Christmas gift that will last for generations to come!

Hi!! So we finally decided to make this venture official with its own page! I will share my before and after pictures of my furniture finds and any unique things I think you guys may like! 😍😍

Our name, Sixth Day Corner, has special meaning to us!
In the Bible, God created the world in 6 days and he rested on the 7th. The sixth day of work in today’s society is the extra mile, the extra effort you make to get ahead.
It’s the above and beyond in your life that sets you apart from everyone else.

So Sixth Day Corner is our little bit more. It’s above and beyond our work week and volunteer life. And we hope you will come see us often and enjoy every little thing you find!
