True craftsmanship deserves a little care. 🌿✨

Just like fine wine, exceptional extra virgin olive oil has enemies: light, heat, and air. To keep those vibrant, fresh-pressed tasting notes alive from the first pour to the last, follow the golden rules of storage:

🌙 Keep it dark: Light degrades the delicate compounds in olive oil. Keep your bottle in a cupboard, pantry, or wrapped in a dark spot rather than out on a bright windowsill. NOT THE FRIDGE! More on that later.
🌡️ Keep it cool: Store your oil away from the stovetop or oven where fluctuating heat can compromise its integrity.
🔒 Seal it tight: Always twist the cap back on firmly immediately after use to minimize oxidation. Our bottles all include a built-in pour spout for convenience and to help maintain the integrity of your delicious liquid gold.

Five years. What a night. What a community. What a gift you all are to us. 💚

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.

Last night was everything we hoped it would be and more. Watching our little corner of Oviedo fill up with the people who have made this journey possible was a moment we will carry with us for a long time.

The Chad and I had the absolute joy of spending the evening with you — pouring drink samples using our drink mixers & products, sharing flavors, and doing what we love most: inspiring the people we care about to bring clean, quality, gourmet food into their everyday lives without compromise and without the hefty price tag that so often comes with it.

To the faces we recognized from the very beginning — the markets, the kiosk, and every version of Oviedo Olive Oil in between — you have no idea what your loyalty has meant to us. You believed in this before it was anything more than a dream and a folding table. We see you. We are grateful for you. More than words can say.

Today’s recipe is brought to you by an afternoon craving and on-the-fly concoction of what was available in store.

Our family loves edamame anytime we have sushi and today I had a craving for the spicy, garlicky edamame we used to have back home in Arizona at our favorite sushi spot.

So I prepared some that I had stashed in the fridge in the back of the store. And since it’s not an exact replica, it was pretty darn close and just perfect on flavor. It’s ridiculously easy and ready in under 5mins!

• 1 package of edamame
• 2 Tbsp Fat Cat Bacon Sriracha
• 1-2 tsp of Oviedo Olive Oil Garlic Burst seasoning
Optional: Drizzle of Oviedo Olive Oil Thai Chili EVOO

Pour and sprinkle ingredients over edamame and mix well until all is coated.

Happy Fathers Day to Mr. Oviedo Olive Oil himself!

You all know him fondly as “Karie’s Husband” but The Chad is known as Daddy, Dad, Bruh and Cha-Daddy outside of the realm of olive oil.

He’s stoic, calm under pressure, a big kid at heart, an amazing provider, protector, and a gentle patriarch, leading our kids through the best and most troublesome of time - encouraging them tomorrow is always better.

Raising kids and being a parent is much like the quote by Robin Sharma “Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end.” He has handled being a father with grace, patience, coupled with the unconditional and unwavering love for these humans - there is nothing he wouldn’t do for them.

We celebrate him today…and everyday! We love you cha_daddy
