I regret that Cosmic Collectibles has closed for business. A new store Cosmic Bargain Bin now occupies its old location. I would like to thank everybody for your business. A new project awaits. Please check out the new store at 403 East Second St. It is run by really good people and has lots of really good merchandise. Once again I would like to thank you for your patronage. It was a really good experience.

I regret that Cosmic Collectibles is closing its 403 East Second St location and a new store Cosmic Bargain Bins has taken over there offering our previously posted items. Cosmic Collectibles will continue on as a purely Internet based business that will distribute its products by mail. Watch for future updates on the transition.

Starting next week Cosmic Collectibles will be experimenting with newer later hours. Our new hours will be noon to 8 Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 on Saturday. The change will be temporary until we see whether we are able to generate enough extra sales to warrant making them permanent.

Starting today, Wednesday, October 17, 2018, Cosmic Collectibles will be adopting a new policy on holding items for customers. Due to the fact that we have had so many customers ask us to hold items for them and then not come to pick them up, from now on customers who ask us to hold items for them will be required to leave a 10% nonrefundable deposit. The deposit will be credited toward the price of the item when they come to pick it up. If they change their minds or do not come to pick up the item within 5 business days the deposit will be forfeited and the item offered up for sale again. I regret that we are forced to do this, but we have lost many sales because of this problem.

Cosmic Collectibles is getting into the Election Day spirit. On Tuesday, November 6th, first go exercise your Constitutional right to vote. Then be one of the first 24 customers to visit our store at 403 East Second St by the high school in Ottumwa wearing your "I voted" sticker and receive a free patriotic pen. No purchase necessary. This is our small way of rewarding you for performing your civic duty. And may God bless America.
