Our new T-Shirts are on sale at the Holiday History Shop in the City of Oswego's Visitor Center, 201 W.1st Street. They feature artwork by Brooke Broadwell, representing the 982 Fort Ontario Refugees from 18 European countries and Oswegonians meeting at the E. 9th Street fence on August 5, 1944, where and when the Holocaust came to America; where everyday Americans first heard personal accounts of persecution, torture, death, and flight from the Nazi's from its victims, and townspeople became the refugee's first advocates in what grew into a successful national struggle to allow them to remain in the United States after the war in Europe ended. 🇺🇲

The Museum is closed this afternoon due to increasing snowfall and winds. Weather permitting, it will reopen Saturday at 11 AM. Don't forget, the Holiday History Shop at 201 W.. 1st Street in tbe City of Oswego's Visitor Center will open tomorrow at 11 AM. Copies of Ruth Gruber's iconic book HAVEN ($24) and 2026 memberships will be on sale with our new MUGS and T-shirts.

The Pop-Up Christmas Shoppe for local Museums is open in downtown Oswego at 201 W First St (between Nora’s and the Bistro).
Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 11:00 to 6:00.
Come for all your history related gifts!
Business was brisk and the crowd at Small Business Saturday was wonderful; everything has been replenished this week!
