I'll be out of the shop today, Saturday, and Monday to attend a regional NICA youth mountain biking competition. If you need to pick up or drop off bikes for service, please call 785 346 6606. I'll be back in the shop on Tuesday. Thanks for your understanding!

Another great donated item from a customer, free to family who can use it. A gently used Topeak brand child seat with the mounting rack, and a Giro infant helmet. Today this set up retails for over $200. Message me or stop by Blue Hills Bikes to check if out.

This 2 seat bike trailer/run stroller was donated by a customer. It's dusty from storeage, but in great shape. The buggy is free, however I'd recommend sealant and tire liners to prevent flat tires. Call or stop by the shop to see it.

Shady Bend Trail is in great shape, bikes are tuned and loaded. Ready to get hundreds of kids on the trail, tomorrow at the North Central Kansas Outdoor Youth Fair. I'll be out of the shop tomorrow for the youth fair. Back on Monday.

If you want to be a part of getting kids outside and active, this is a golden opportunity. Our local youth mountain bike team, the Raptors will be there with a fleet of kid sized bikes to get youngsters pedaling out on the trail. It takes a lot of volunteers to get the kiddos fitted with a helmet, matched to a bike, then out on the trail with leaders and sweeps to help them have a great mountain bike experience. If you want to help, respond to this post or call me at 785 346 6156.

Online Registration is now closed. You may still register as you enter the Youth Fair area on Saturday, September 6th. Please remember, even if you pre-registered, you still need to check in at the registration tables in order to be eligible for the awesome prizes!

The weather is forecasted to be quite cool (47*) in the morning so please wear a jacket or hoodie as it should warm up in the upper 70's by mid-afternoon. Also, Please wear sturdy shoes, no flip flops please!
