Bowe knife, from a farrier rasp, to a knife. Lots of work in one of these. This particular one has a 15-degree grind to the blade. It's the natural angle for a person to sharpen a blade.

Working on the New sign. This was inspired by one Roy Adams did for a BAM conference a couple of years ago which,I, Dennis Marshall, Bob,Andy, and Dan attended for the club. I got the Acanthosis leaf blanks and blossom blank from Jessica Adams that day. I'm working on creating the tools to add the details to those pieces. Looking for a 3/4" ball bearing to form the blossom blank on. So if anyone has one to donate to the cause I would appreciate it. More pictures to follow of course as the project continues. The second picture is of a square forge-welded on a stairway balaster that I did for a job. A decorative detail that I haven't added to this piece yet. Some twists are planned, also still need add those.

This months Club challenge is to Forgeweld a item from two pieces of steel. My item, a Sheep Wagon Broom ring. As you can see in the pictures. The areas where the weld didn't take you can definitely see the seams. As you could in old welded pieces.

Well, progress is being made on the Angel winged Door Knocker! The Helmeted Head is coming along. Now for it to cool off a little bit 😜 before I go handling it,🤣, wouldn't do to be burned at this point. The striking body goes back in the forge to draw the body out and create a foot.

Angel 😇 winged Door Knocker is coming together! Working on the second wing. As you can see the roughly complete wing and Door Knocker plate are awaiting the second wing. Once this is completed it will be time for the Knocker body. Hope the Knocker turns out like I plan in this sketch! It's going to be the hardest part of the Knocker. Prayers please! The Helmet on the inside is the one I'm going with.Might need to create a few new tools to make the details for the Helmet. So the Helmeted Head is coming along still needs lots of detail work done.

Well my trade item is done for the meeting on Saturday! You were to start with a piece of 1/2" x 1/2" x 6". This is what I came up with. A fluxing spoon for Forge welding.
