We are so saddened over the loss of Mike. He was a wonderful member of our community and his impact to the fire department is immeasurable. Our thoughts are with his friends, family and community. Thank you for your guidance, skills, and keeping our town safe 💙

It is with a sense of profound sadness that we recognize the passing of Town Fire Administrator, Michael Drake. Mike was a friend, mentor, leader, and served as a fire academy instructor to many of our volunteers. Mike's experience as a professional Firefighter and Paramedic, his expertise as an instructor, as well as his consummate professionalism, and good nature, made him a go-to resource for training and advice for members of our department.
He will be missed terribly, but his legacy will endure in the lives of those he touched and those whose lives he saved or brought to safety during his career.
