Tis the season of Giving! 🔔🎁
Earlier this December, the City of Oronoco, the Oronoco Fire Department/ Fire Relief Association & Downtown Oronoco Gold Rush Days were all able to "pay it forward" to our local Oronoco Food Shelf. Volunteer work and civil service play integral parts in our small community. We are thankful for the individuals who manage, support and collaborate in these programs. Please consider donating goods or funds throughout the year to help ensure the prosperity of your neighbors. Food & supply donation bins are available at City Hall during business hours year round. On this Veterans Day, we begin with a salute to our soldiers. 🇺🇸 Fitting for today, we would also like to share a little about our local Oronoco VFW Post 9647 and their continued support in our community and of Downtown Oronoco Gold Rush Days. Located in Lot K on MN Ave and the host location of our ever popular Kids Zone, you will find your all you can eat breakfast 7am-11am, enjoy affordable burger baskets & nachos and find respite from the mid-day sun in the cool air conditioning while taking in an icy root beer float! Opportunities to support veteran services can also be found here via silent auction and by purchasing tickets for one of our top featured events, the Zumbro River Duck Derby! VFW proceeds support the community through the local Memorial Day Program, flag placing, Veterans food services, community enrichment & the annual Eagles Cancer Telethon. Please join us in supporting the fine folks of the Oronoco VFW and Auxiliary by stopping in during your visit and keeping the spirit alive. ❤️

Many of our vendors and shoppers may have noticed over the last few seasons, that we have worked to improve the community aspect of our event by adding new activities, services and entertainment features to accommodate both the younger generations and our aging population. These events have been offered at no cost to our visitors or affected vendor rates. How is that feasible for a non profit you might ask? Well, in truth, its ALL in THANKS to our partnering local entities and small business owners who sponsor these events through donations! Over the next few months, we will be sharing more info about these offerings and posting some well deserved shout outs to the wonderful folks who support Downtown Oronoco Gold Rush Days and help us continue to thrive year after year! We are proud to serve this community by paying it forward and we ❤️ you Oronoco!

What a wild ride we had this season ya'll! 🥵The vendor and visitor feedback has been AMAZING these last 2 weeks! ❤ As we continue to expand on this years 375+ lot footprint of Antiques, Flea marketing and fanfare, we sure hope you'll mention us to your friends for next year! Vendor registration opens again in March 2026 and we have GOALS! If by chance, you didn't strike GOLD with us during this visit, here are a few hundred reasons to come back and try again next year! And thats a WRAP! THANK YOU, THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of our hearts, for bringing our show to LIFE every year! It truly takes a village to pull it off, from the vendors to the volunteers and visitors. We would also like to thank our local business owners, Public Works, Fire Department, First Responders, VFW, Lions, Sheriff's deputies and countless volunteers for their support, sponsorship and donations that keep the show moving.
