I have been invited to join nine other area potters for the Annual Holiday Pottery Sale at the Brewster Ladies' Library. This remarkable gathering is in its 19th year and it features the work of some of the best Cape potters.

A portion of proceeds go to the Brewster Ladies’ Library as thanks for hosting this annual event. It's a great way to get a jump on your holiday shopping while supporting local artists and the local library.

Opening Reception: Friday, November 22, 3-6pm. Come meet the artists and enjoy some refreshments while helping celebrate art-making on the Cape. I hope to see you there.

I have been selected Artist of the Month for August by The Hope Chest, the Lower Cape Outreach Council's thrift and consignment shop.

From August 1 to 31, 50% of all proceeds from the sale of Brava Pottery go to LCOC to provide emergency food, clothing, and financial help for neighbors in need.

The Hope Chest is open Monday-Saturday, 10AM-4PM at 58 Main Street, Post Office Square, Orleans, MA.

Take a look here https://lcoutreach.org/hope-gallery/

and stop by in August. Plenty of free parking.

If you missed my solo sale at The Artist Cottages at Orleans Market Square in June or just couldn't get enough of my pottery or want to see more of my work along with that of six other wonderful potters working in the clay studio at Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill , come to cottage 8, conveniently situated across from the entrance to the bike path between the Orleans Farmers Market and The Chocolate Sparrow. We will be there beginning Wednesday, August 17, through Sunday, August 21. The cottages are open, rain or shine, from 10AM - 5PM, except Saturday, Farmers Market day, when they open at 9 AM.

Hope to see you there.

I'm getting my cottage ready for the weekend sale at the Artist Cottages at Orleans Market Square. Just found out weekend hours have changed: I'll be open from 8:30 am to 5 pm on Saturday, the 18th; 10-5 on Sunday, the 19th. The weather is supposed to be perfect. A cool fish-shape bike rack has been installed at the Artist Cottages, so wheel your bike over if you're coming from the bike path. And do stop by if you've been to the Farmers' Market next door.

The Artist Cottages are open rain or shine, so if it's a beach day, come by before you hit the surf or when you've had enough sun; if it's wet or overcast, it will be more fun than a jigsaw puzzle. If you won't be on the Cape that weekend, tell your friends, family, renters, strangers to drop by .
