This is a night and day difference! This Chibson came in to have all new hardware installed, new pickups, a custom wiring layout,a new nut, and some much needed fretwork.
I started by plugging the 2nd kill-switch hole so I could add a three way toggle back in. Next I wired up the electronics to have two tones and one volume, each tone being a push/pull for the Fishman voicing system, then I dropped in a black kill-switch and wired up the rechargeable backplate for the active system. I crafted a new GraphTech Tusq nut then did a fret-level. The neck has a weird hump in it that took some elbow grease to get out.
Tuned to B standard.

This guitar came in after another local shop gave a half-assed attempt at a setup and a really poor wiring job with cheap components, and at an unreasonable price on top of that.
So I set it up with 9.5’s, a new compensated nut, a complete rewire with a new audio taper push/pull and new three way, and compensated saddles. It feels like a new guitar now, and plays like it should have.

My boi dropped of this old Charvel, named Charlene, off for some work. A refret, a new nut, new electronics and and clean rewire, and a setup with 8’s a half-step down.
We didn’t want to clean anything up or get rid of any of the mojo she has, so we worked around it. At the end of the day she turned out great. A TRUE SHREDDER!

This rad little Framus came into the shop for some work! Although it needs a neck reset we found some ways to avoid it. So new frets, a new nut, a new saddle, and a new K&K pickup later, this thing is playing better than ever! I actually had a lot of fun working on it too, which is always a good sign.
