I worked for a while yesterday cleaning up and burning brush and tree branches. I still have much more to do. I also planted 2 tiny peach trees. Hopefully they will grow and thrive. I love fresh peaches!

Working on getting organized for the upcoming garden. Any requests? I know I will have tomatoes, peppers, green beans and pumpkins.

Weather this year is not very cooperative. It is cold, hot, wet, dry and generally not very nice. The plants are growing but I can not keep up with the grass in the rows. I am just a party pooper. When it is 90+ (very hot) the weeds and grass just get to grow. Hopefully I will get some vegetables. The tomatoes, carrots and cabbage look pretty good.

It would really be nice if the weather would try to help the gardeners rather than keep us out of the garden. I am very far behind with the planting because of all the RAIN!

I thought spring was coming. I was wrong. My greenhouse is full of succulents and tomato plants. I need to get more plants started but the wind and cold are not helping anything. I put 2 ratchet straps on the greenhouse to help hold it down. So far, so good. We have had more wind in the last few days than we have had all winter! Anyway, looking forward to getting some seed planted. At least we don't have the 8 inches of snow that came down in central WI last night!
