That's a wrap to the 2026 Warhammer 40K Bay Area Open! We are so beyond proud of the members of our 40K team that represented us this year and put up some impressive numbers!

We had two players earn awards. First, one of our owners, Nutty, won "Best in Faction" for Orks while taking 18th overall in the event! Congratulations Nutty!

Oh and you know.....YOUR 2026 WARHAMMER 40K BAY AREA OPEN CHAMPION, FLOOF COX!!! You read that right, FLOOF WON THE ENTIRE EVENT!!! Out of 156 players, Floof battled against some of the best players at the tournament, ultimately going 6-0 and having an extremely high opponent game win percentage to cement them as the winner!!! That of course means they also took home the best in faction award for "Genestealer Cult" as well! Congratulations Floof! We are so happy for you!

On top of that, we had 5 players place in the top half of the event. That is no easy feat at a major this size with some absolutely fantastic players attending. Congratulations to them as well! Great job!

Lastly, we had some shop regulars that did absolutely fantastic! We want to extend our congratulations to them as well! Always cool to see locals showing up to major events like this and performing so well! Congratulations!!!
