🍅🌱 Tomato Plants Are Selling Fast! 🌱🍅

First, thank you! We are incredibly grateful for the support you've shown this spring. Our tomato plants have been flying off the benches, and while that's exciting for us, it also means our inventory is getting lower much earlier than usual.

If you've been putting off planting your garden, now is the time to stop by and pick up your tomatoes for the season. We still have a great selection available, but many varieties are selling down quickly and we can't guarantee they'll be around much longer.

Whether you're dreaming of fresh slicers for sandwiches, cherry tomatoes for snacking, or heirlooms for summer salads, don't wait too long.

And don't worry if you're looking for other garden favorites, we still have plenty of squash and cucumber plants available and ready for your garden!

🍅🌱 Thank You for Growing With Us! 🌱🍅

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday morning for our "Grow Your Own Spaghetti Dinner" class. What started as a pilot program turned into a wonderful morning filled with learning, conversation, and community, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible turnout.

A special thank you goes to the Master Gardeners who volunteered their time, knowledge, and enthusiasm to help make this event a success. Their passion for gardening and education helped create a welcoming experience for gardeners of all skill levels.

We'd also like to give a shout-out to our own Elizabeth Nicklow for leading the class. With nearly 11 years of experience in the garden center and greenhouse industry, Elizabeth is passionate about helping others gain the confidence to grow their own food and find success in their gardens.

At Darnell's Garden Patch, one of our core missions has always been to help our community learn how to grow their own food. We believe these skills are important not only for feeding ourselves today, but for teaching the next generation how to be self-sufficient, connected to the land, and confident in their ability to grow their own food.

The support and enthusiasm we received for this pilot class has encouraged us to explore offering more educational programs next year. We're already discussing new topics and opportunities to help our community learn, grow, and get their hands dirty.

The love and support our community continues to show us means more than words can express. Thank you for trusting us, supporting local agriculture, and sharing in our vision of creating a stronger, more self-sufficient community.

🥛 Something exciting has arrived at Darnell's Garden Patch!

We're thrilled to announce that we are now carrying glass bottle milk from South Mountain Creamery. These delicious local dairy products are making their way to our shelves for the first time.

Not only is the milk fresh, local, and pasteurized, but it also comes in reusable glass bottles as part of a bottle return program.

This is a new venture for us, and we're excited to see how our community responds. Stop by and check it out—we can't wait to hear what you think!🐮

What a wonderful day at the Orange County Fireman's Parade yesterday!

We were proud to debut our newly updated truck logo and even more excited to have the newest member of the Darnell family, baby Reeves, along for his very first parade. Seeing generations of family riding/walking together reminded us just how much this community means to us.

Thank you to everyone who came out, waved from the sidelines, and helped make the day so special. Events like these are a beautiful reminder that we're more than neighbors—we're a community that grows together, supports one another, and celebrates life's milestones side by side.

We're grateful to be part of Orange County and look forward to many more years of growing with you all.
