Registration for Race for the Place is Now Open!

Race for the Place, a 5K and 1 Mile run/walk, is a wonderful celebration of cancer survivors and an opportunity to raise money to support the free programs and services provided at The Gathering Place to help children, teens, adults, individuals, families and friends cope while on the cancer journey.

Let's come together to celebrate those who have survived, inspire those who have been diagnosed, support our families and connect with our great community.

Register TODAY! Prostate Cancer Forum 2023

Join us in person for a day full of FREE presentations from experts in the field, Q&A and nutrition and exercise strategies. Whether you are the person with cancer or a loved one, you're bound to learn new and helpful information for navigating a prostate cancer diagnosis.

Saturday, November 4 from 8:00am- 4:00pm. Registration and Continental Breakfast begin at 8:00am. Forum to begin at 9:00am.

Open to young adults ages 18-40s. Participate in a half day retreat to gather with fellow young adult cancer patients and survivors focusing on giving thanks - through a guided writing workshop and creative art exercises. Reflect on who and what you have gratitude for, ways to communicate your thanks, and identify new ways to integrate gratitude into your life. Food will be provided. Facilitators: Taylor Buss, MSW, LISW-S, OSW-C, Whitney Hadley, MA, MSW, LSW, OSW-C & Susan Marinac, MSSA, LISW-S.
