As another beautiful Bloom Season comes to an end, we want to thank everyone who came out to visit! We are grateful to our consistent customers & to new fans of the farm for coming out & participating in all our workshops, events, & activities!
Honestly, the last couple of years have been an even bigger challenge for us both with the business & personally.
When we evacuated in May 2025 due to the fire, we lost half of our original field b/c we were replacing old irrigation lines & couldn't get the work done in time. This year, we are grateful for the rain but the flooding caused some minor damage & we won't be able to harvest the rest of the lavender.
Our FB Business Page was hacked Nov 2025 so Meta disabled our social media accounts which is vital for a small business. We had to start over again but thanks to you all we have gotten the word out & are rebuilding our accounts!
Having fur babies adds so much to our lives & to the farm, but it is devastating when we lose them.
We have lost or had to euthanize
4 fur babies in the last 18 months.
Even more traumatic was the loss of my older brother and John's Father in 2024.
We will treasure their memories. ❤️
As many supporters know, I suffer from several chronic hereditary & autoimmune diseases some which have just occurred in the last 3 years causing some organ damage. I have endured bloodwork, phlebotomies, CTs, MRIs, & bone marrow biopsies. It has been challenging getting through the days both physically, mentally & emotionally.
Even so, l am fortunate to have been living this beautiful lavender dream where I get to enjoy nature, host people, craft & teach others to craft & share our paradise with others! I am sometimes amazed that customers appreciate my art work enough to purchase it! This is what gets me up in the morning & Farmer John. 😂
Going through all these difficulties has only reconfirmed that I am content with my life & not having good health helps me to appreciate my life, the farm, & ESPECIALLY my beautiful family even more!
I couldn't have gotten through this Bloom Season without our amazing staff...Danielle, Paola, & Chad! Our daughter came down from Phoenix on her days off to help as well
