Yep... It's exhausting trying to squeeze everything in, but it is what I love!

To all the makers: I see you. I have so much respect for you, I get you, I understand and I see YOU.

Pictured here is my hubby, after taking kids to school he comes home, checks messages on his phone and this is how I find him.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the glamorous thoughts of owning a business, setting your schedules, making all the pretty things (clint probably isn't thinking that exact thing 😂 but you know what I mean) it is awesome but there is also a side to this that is hard, really hard.

No one really gets it. Unless you are one of us. Fourth quarter exhaustion can be explained like having a newborn, EXHAUSTING and a tired like no tired you have ever experienced before.
We work so dang hard literally around the clock to make all the things happen. I see you rolling out of bed in the morning feeling like you have sand in your eyeballs. I see you ordering your supplies, I see you making the beautiful items, I see you literally running all over at a pace you didn’t even know you had. I see you making your amazing products with your hands, in the morning, afternoon, evening and late nights too. I see you doing all the things a maker must do.

I also see the worry in your face, the dark circles and bags under your eyes and the pure exhaustion that over takes you this time of the year. It’s not easy.

But I also see pride, laughter, smiles, slap happy moments too. The love of a maker is one that is not understood unless you are one of us.

I see you, you are doing great! You can and you will get through this. Finish strong makers... you are amazing. (But maybe get just a little nap in here and there 😂)

This weekend is the Shop Hop with Heifers in the Haymow and Marcella's Child... Saturday I'll be offering a "workshop" for anyone to pop in and paint a small (4"×8") sign. Reservations aren't necessary, but are encouraged if there's a design that you like since it will be a first come first serve basis. Cost is $10, design options are pictured.
