Flat River Arms Rifles Manufactured in Omaha, Nebraska
We have been testing our patrol rifle for the last year. It is now out in the wild being tested by LE Agencies.
Flat River Arms Patrol Special
The Flat River Patrol Rifles were designed by an Omaha Police Officer with 20 years of law enforcement experience. This rifle is a precision rifle designed for law enforcement working conditions. They are designed to hold up to the rigors of riding around in a vehicle during a true four season climate and not fail when called upon.
The Flat River 5.56 mm sub zero MOA guaranteed barrel has a gas block that is drilled and pinned to the barrel. This prevents the gas block from coming loose in extreme conditions. The buffer tube is secured to the lower receiver with a ratcheting castle nut that prevents the buffer tube from coming loose. The trigger is secured with anti-walk trigger pins. It should be noted that these anti walk pins allow the trigger pins to rotate as designed.
These rifles come with multiple QD mount points including one in the endplate. The trigger is a Flat River single stage nickel boron coated trigger with a pull weight of approximately 6 pounds. The Flat River bolt carrier group is made with 158 carpenter steel and is MPI inspected. The charging handle is a Flat River ambi BREACH® charging handle. The safety is ambidextrous. The flash hider is the Strike Industries Venom Flash hider. This flash hider has been one of the highest rated flash hiders on the market. The included sights are Strike Polymer Backup Sights

16" 5.56 GOVERNMENT PROFILE MID LENGTH Gas AR 15 BARREL, MODERN SERIES. Our 5.56 chambered 16 inch Government Profile Mid-Length Modern Series Barrel is machined from CrMoV steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish and QPQ coated M4 feed ramp extension. Twist rate 1:7. BCG: Nitride BCG is made with a carpenter 158 bolt with a full-auto profile, designed to be used in AR-15 & M-16 style rifles. The Bolt is magnetic particle inspected (MPI) for a uniform quality and operational reliability. OEM is toolcraft.
The Receiver is forged with 7075 Aluminum with an Anodized finish.
The handguard is a free float M-Lock compatible handguard. Anodized Finish, 1.75″ INSIDE DIAMETER, QD Mounts. OEM is Black Rain Ordnance
Sights: The Strike Polymer Backup Sights (SPBUS) is a low-profile sighting system that is designed for the AR platform and has bonus built-in sights when flipped down. No time to flip up the sights, you have backup sights on your backup sights. The SPBUS sights are made with lightweight and durable SI Polymer Extreme material with steel mounting tab and insert that can handle any wear and tear you throw at it without any major issues. The SPBUS does not have an internal spring so you don’t accidently deploy the sights when you don’t need them. To zero the sights or make any adjustments, the rear sight has an easy-to-use k**b for adjusting windage while the front sight elevation is easily and quickly adjusted without tools. The Flat River BREACH® Charging Handle is a rugged, ambidextrous, precision-manufactured charging handle for the AR15 platform.
