Did you know?? 🤔🤔
Yellow Calcite is the sunny little member of the calcite family, a calcium carbonate mineral whose history stretches back thousands of years through carved objects, architecture, pigments, and decorative stone. Calcite itself gets its name from words associated with lime, and its yellow coloring comes from impurities within the mineral. 🧐 Metaphysically, Yellow Calcite is commonly associated with the solar plexus chakra, confidence, motivation, optimism, mental clarity, and personal power. It’s a good one to reach for when you’re feeling stuck, second-guessing yourself, or staring at something you know needs done while your motivation has apparently left the building. 😅 Keep it near a workspace, use it during intention-setting or meditation, or carry it when you could use a little extra ✨okay, I can do this✨ energy. Like all calcite, it is fairly soft at only a 3 on the Mohs scale, so it scratches and chips easily. It also reacts with acids, so skip vinegar, harsh cleaners, and acidic cleansing methods; a soft dry cloth, smoke, sound, or simply setting it somewhere safe are much kinder options. ☺️ As with any crystal, its metaphysical properties are rooted in spiritual traditions and personal practice, so think of Yellow Calcite as a tool for intention and reflection rather than a cure-all. ✨👀🔮🖤🧿💀🌙
