How do we deal with chicken p**p💩 ?!We let our chickens free range in our backyard all day long, so our chickens get to enjoy our back deck just as much as we do!!! We love that our hens get to run free but there is chicken poo everywhere! 🤣 The chicken p**p doesn’t really bother us but we have rules for Hazel to help keep the chicken p**p germs out of the house. 🐓wear shoes in the coop (barefoot in the yard is okay!) 🐓wash hands every time we go back inside the house. 🐓chicken p**p is not clay or play dough😬(This should be rule #1)

We get asked all of the time how to train chickens to be so friendly. It’s really a combination of things. The secret is actually meal worms but wearing an Elsa dress and singing to them helps I am sure. We actually got this little chicken last week and she I already warming up to Hazel... welcome to the family sparkle.

Hazel, Haddie, and Princess living their best lives! Did you know that all of the chickens in our flock are adopted from local people and farmers? We adopted Princess when her last family posted that they needed to rehome her in a local Facebook group. She has the sweetest personality and she lets Hazel carry her around the backyard. What she lacks in egg size she makes up with her big personality!

Mama, Hazel, and Haddie in our natural habitat. If I look extra tired these days it’s because I am constantly chasing a toddler while holding a 4 month old. I am holding my favorite chicken Hungry. She is sooo sweet and she lays blue eggs on our patio furniture because she doesn’t want me to have to walk all the way down to the coop to collect her eggs. 😉🌈🐓

Did you know that adding corn to your chicken’s diet can give them an extra boost of protein? Adding corn on the cob to your chickens treat feeder during the winter months keeps them active and warm.
Also, I have been a professional at lip syncing since my second grade talent show. 🤣🐓.
