Hi, I’m Pumulo! I’m 25 years old and live in Omaha, Nebraska with my partner and our two puppies! I am going into my last semester of undergraduate with a major in English Communications and minors in Business and Creative Writing.

is something that’s always been a part of my life. Growing up, my family didn’t have the means to shop new items, so we mostly thrifted for things. It was something I was embarrassed of, having to buy things that other people have used.

As I got older and had to manage my own money, I realized how much of an advantage secondhand and thrift shopping was. Now that I’ve learned more about and the fashion industry, thrifting has taken up a whole new meaning for me. I’m grateful to my parents for all they were able to provide for me and that my childhood had led me to a newfound joy of thrifting!

Ran into the major of SLO yesterday while delivering some HH items! Okay we’ll stop downplaying ourselves - I straight up fan-girled her, hence the selfie. Hometown Honey is a proud supporter of Mayor Harmon.

I’ve always seen Mayor Harmon as a strong leader — someone who unites people, rather than divide. She takes action, not just gives empty promises. She remains objective and humble, knowing when to defer to experts to make decisions rather than pretend to know something. She is honest about what our city needs to improve on. I’ve also seen her respond with grace and integrity to trolls on social media. As a leader, woman, and human being, Heidi makes me confident she’ll continue to fight for me, for all of us, and for all small businesses through COVID. I’m sure being mayor takes a lot of work on all fronts. If you have a positive affirmation for her, please share it in the comments and tag 🌻. I know I’m supposed to post of picture of just myself, but where would the world be without a few women who broke the rules... I’ve received much support from this woman in my life so it only feels right to highlight her in the same way. She’s strong, bold, and just being around her feels healing and exciting.
