Glass early, glass often. 👀

If you're planning a backcountry hunt this fall, May is not too early to start scouting. Quality binoculars on a stable tripod can be the difference between spotting a bull at 800 yards or walking right past him.

Pro tip: slow down your glassing. Most hunters move the glass way too fast and miss animals that are bedded and still.

If you've ever strapped more gear than is probably reasonable to a quad and headed into the backcountry anyway, this one's for you.

UPDATE: AIDEN GOT HIS FIRST PIG! 🐗

He heard the squeal, but it’s too dark to safely track tonight… so the search begins at daylight.

Needless to say, someone was pretty excited tonight. (So much so he just sat, smiled and didn’t eat his dinner.)

We asked him a few questions right after dinner so you could hear how he was feeling in the moment. He also said at dinner that Shawn Riddle was a great guide. 😝

School’s out for summer… and the Riddle boys are exactly where you thought we’d be. 🌾🐗🎯

Today was the last day of school, and instead of slowing down, they headed straight to the blind. Tonight is a big one, Aiden is going on his very first pig hunt with Shawn!

There’s just something special about making memories outdoors, teaching patience, responsibility, and spending quality time together as a family. We’re excited, a little nervous, and hoping tonight becomes a story he never forgets.

Wish Aiden luck on his first pig! 🐗
