Came across this granny square yarn while shopping at Joann’s since it’s FINALLY half off. It was giving me Sally vibes but now that it’s complete I’m also thinking vibrant 80s too. Let me tell you, it took me over 2hrs to find the right gauge and tension to do the granny square on point 🥴 I used Coz-E Creations pattern Charleston Hooded Shawl as the base and then freehanded the hood and pockets.

Uggghhhhh… FML nothing I’ve done this weekend is turning out right. I already wasted a whole cake of this on a crop top that I absolutely HATE. It wouldn’t frog 🐸 at all. Kept on getting snagged and breaking. I salvaged what I could and moved onto this shawl and I’ve already spotted 3 mistakes on it. 😭 send help & ice cream! Ya girl is going through it 🥴

Let me do a reintroduction since there’s a lot of new followers on my IG & FB 🖤 My name is Tiffany aka SnapplePop. I was born and raised in Northern California (USA). I’m 38, a wife, and mother to 7 kids ages 10-19. We’re a sports family. Our oldest is in her sophomore year at Chico State and is on their throw team for javelin and discus. Our 17yr old daughter that is a senior in high school throws discus as well. Our 10yr old son plays football year round and is entering his 3rd season for tackle and our 14yr old daughter plans to do track & field when she starts her freshman year next year.

I have been crocheting since Dec of 2016. I started out with hats and blankets as a hobby and then went onto amigurumi in 2018/2019. It wasn’t until Jan 2021 that I said screw making everything everyone else wants- I’m going to make what I want. And that’s when SnapplePop Voodoo Dolls came into play. I started making different themed voodoo dolls and then moved onto baphomets and bats and then whatever else came to mind. I renamed my business in 2023 to SnapplePop Oddities so it was more of a broad name instead of limiting my product. I’ve vendored at a few events. I hope to do more in the future but I currently have that on pause. I work full time 5 days a week for a legal support company and I am about to start school in the fall to pursue my legal office admin degree. I published my first two patterns- Thick & Curvy Sh***ri Goddess and Slim Thick Sh***ri Goddess two years ago which has been a huge hit and may be the reason you are reading this. I also have published patterns for the Fresno “Yasss Crawler” and my bundle for the Squid Game characters. I would love to quit my job and crochet full time and create content, however that isn’t in the cards for me at the moment so I do what I can when I can. Thank you for your time and your support ❤️
