I do have my own ties: Mothra, Death Stonefly, DSS Streamer, Beadtail Caddis, Hatcher and Crazy Spawn. I do have an AAS degree from Garrett College in Natural Resources and Wildlife Technology and I spent 13 months being trained by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to become a Waterways Conservation Officer. To my knowledge, I am the only Disabled Veteran / Retired Waterways Conservation Officer turned guide in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Although Diabetes has tweaked my eyesight a bit, I still get the job done on super tiny flies with the help of magnified reading glasses. I also write a monthly article for the Reading Eagle pertaining to Fly of the Month and or what patterns you should have in your fly box for the upcoming month.
