Sam’s Books is officially in our new spot (one building over from where it’s been for 30+ years, still in Oldsmar Flea Market)! We are not quite FULLY organized but we are OPEN, so please stop by tomorrow… especially if you have a burning desire to help alphabetize books 😆

I (Sharon’s daughter) would like to take this opportunity to eternally thank every volunteer who helped - the customers who did it out of the goodness of your hearts, the friends who were conscripted with no choice, anyone who bought books so that there were fewer to move, and especially the ones who did hard labor - I speak not only for myself but my mule of a mom who actively resists accepting help but desperately needed it… THANK YOU.

This store still exists because of YOUR support. Please do not think that goes unnoticed ❤️

Was reading this book when I happened upon the movie on Netflix. This is the first time I enjoyed the film more than the book. Of course the film strayed a tad but it was the visual effects that pulled me in. Did anyone else have this experience?

To Sam’s Books Customers and Supporters:

I am writing this to let you know what is happening to the Oldsmar Flea Market. There will be an apartment development built on the part of the market which encompasses the first six rows (A through F). All the buildings must be vacated by May 31. At first we were told our row would be okay but last week we were notified that our building was also to be demolished.

Sam’s Books and T&D Golf will be moving to the next row over which is next to the retention pond. The market will be helping move the bookcases. If there is anyone who could volunteer to paint, pack books in boxes or help redesign the store, any help would be appreciated.

I want to thank all of my supporters throughout the years. You have enabled me to stay in business and follow my dream. I couldn’t have done it without you.
