The shop’s schedule is full through the rest of April. I will be closed 5/1-5/18. Everything that I have spoken with people about already and any work orders that were submitted prior to 4/13 will be completed before I close. Everything else will be scheduled 5/18 and onward. Been a wild spring so far!

I’ll be closed the last two days of next week for some much needed time away from the shop and some bike riding with friends. My schedule is 120% full until then. ❤️ I’ll be back in on Monday the 6th.

Here is my monthly(ish) post of a picture of my wall, which seems to be the only thing I stop and take a picture of when it hits me how busy I am. Creeping up on 8-10 days out right now. Doing my best to cut that down right now, but winter is definitely in the air. Stoked to be busy!

Hey guys, we have less than a week before the Old Fort Strong endurance festival. This is a great fundraiser that is going directly to people in Old Fort that are still struggling to fully get back on their feet from Hurricane Helene. All of the money goes directly to citizens that either lost their homes completely or had significant damage to their homes, and did not receive any financial help from insurance. Over $1.5 million dollars were raised last year. This is a great opportunity to help citizens of Old Fort directly without padding the pockets of organizations that don’t need help. I will closing early on Wednesday 11/26 and re-opening Monday 12/1. My schedule is full until then. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. However you choose to celebrate, don’t forget we callously stole this land from Native American people, so have some humility and maybe make time to work in some random acts of kindness and give someone else a reason to give thanks. 🦃

A few weeks ago, I attended a Rockshox Master Technician class in Colorado Springs. I was lucky enough to be one of 8 people nationwide invited to attend. It was a great opportunity to get direct access to the engineers that design and test these products, and ask questions only they could answer. Really cool to see how much R&D goes into these products and gives me lots of hope for their future products! I met some great technicians from all over the US, and it was awesome to learn and progress as a mechanic and business owner. The last day we did some deep diving into suspension setup with bracket testing at Trestle Bike Park in Winter Park. If you have any issues with or questions about a Rockshox product, I can handle it.

2 years in the books! Can’t believe it. Lots of hard work, stressful days and nights, one biblical flood, two remodels, and a whole lot of just figuring things out. Some days feel like I’m starting to make sense of everything. Some days still feel like day one. It’s been a wild ride, and it’s so exciting to see the shop grow and flourish over the last two years, especially when there were times where I wondered if I would be able to reopen after Helene. I try not to glamorize or dwell on things like that. Instead, I can focus on how unwavering my close friendships and relationships are, how lucky I am, and how motivated it makes me moving forward. Thank you to my customers and the shops that keep me in business. Life is good! Send me your suspension!
