Hey Guys, I wanted to reach out to everyone for a minute.
So I know I've been a little disorganized with answering emails the past few weeks. I've been kinda in a flight or fight panic mode as finances have been really hard the past couple of months and it's been coming to a head this month.
Back in the summer, one of my other stores was closed down on Etsy. This was a major blow as it was about 1/3 of my income. Since then, I've been scrambling to find more work, create new products, and run sales on all my shops as a way to mitigate the damage from the loss of income. This also happened to coincide with the world literally becoming an even bigger dumpster fire, the economy crashing, and everything from food, utilities, gas becoming twice as expensive. This put me in panic mode cause I support my wife while she's finishing up her degree and 4 children. Kids are expensive man!
Being neurodivergent, sometimes I kinda shut down when I feel like I can't deal with all the pressure. Which doesn't help anyone when I lock up and don't communicate properly.
I've been shut down for a little bit but last night I was able to have a really breakthrough therapy session. I basically cried like a baby for a few hours and let a ton of guilt and pressure off my chest.
This morning I felt reset. I feel calmer, even though everything around me is figuratively on fire. I feel motivated, and I'm working on responding to any open emails and getting more orders out the door.
So to sum it up, You guys are awesome. I really appreciate all the positivity and support over the years and I will have a ton of updates and progress soon!
