Just finished up a shop upgrade, decided to take a shot out making some fixture plates for my machine. I didn't have the ability to make them one solid piece, but 4 plates later. I'm flat and square! Matched the SMW fixture plate bolt pattern, and everything seems to be work well so far!

Been a long while since I've posted, ended up making my own Fixture plates for the machine. 4 10"x20" plates out of some 1144 stress-relieved plate. 908 drill and tapped holes with tight bores, inspired by SMW fixture plates!

2015 Series 3 Tormach PCNC

Comes with SMW 6061 fixture table and Modvises.

Toolholders and a ITTP probe.

Stepper motors have been switched to hybrid Closed loop steppers and the spindle motor has been upgraded to a 2.2kw (3 H.P) motor. Still maxed at 5200~
Did not install a break on the Z-axis motor, during power off I block the spindle in place.
Everything runs off of a 220v 30amp circuit.

Had since late 2018 and have built and maintained the machine since.

Worked well for my applications but have moved on to new and different projects

Been while since I've made a post! I've been busy in the shop and taking care of things at the day job🤙

I've been promoted to shop manager and head programmer, so I've got a lot on my plate! But this has allowed me to further my skills and really dial in my process.

I've been bringing in new tooling for the shop and getting new fixtures made, which is all universal for our machines at the shop. Here is my new fixtures for all my product line, going to be running the Max-4 pallet system! Just finished the adapter plate for the UMC-750 out of some ductile iron🤙

Just got a fresh shipment of foam and HDPE instock, we have a short lead-time on our Bender Jigs and Trigger guard molds!

We've also updated the Bender jig offerings, we have the asymmetrical, extra-wide, and mini on the site with pricing. We offer all in either HDPE or Aluminum!

Been a busy few weeks for us here at the shop! Been working on commissioning a new to us machine and training up someone to help run the machines and design parts!

We're very fortunate for our customers that have supported us to this point, but we're gonna continue to build more and provide the best products and services we can!
