Using natural fibers such as silk and bamboo as her canvas, she applies dye using multiple techniques, her favorite being the Japanese art of Shibori. This serendipitous technique yields delight and surprise with each unfolding.

.merryweather works in her intimate home studio with two sweet pugs sleeping at her feet, Erin spends a big part of her days designing and creating her minimalist handcrafted jewelry. Each piece is designed with a strong awareness of the collection as a whole–inherently feminine clean lines and graphic shapes with an organic, edgy nature. She uses a delicate mix of hand-shaped and hammered fine metals of sterling silver, 14k gold-fill and rose gold, vintage beads, natural stones and crystals.

Andrea Kissinger is an Oklahoma artist inspired by traditional Cherokee double-walled basketry. She weaves baskets and jewelry from materials she finds both "colorful and easy to manipulate." She’s a board member of the Fiber Arts of Oklahoma, and we’re lucky to have a few of her works in the HIVE.

is a self-taught artisan from Budapest, Hungary. Agnes grew up in Cuba, Spain, and lived in the US for the past 20+ years. Her move to Oklahoma brought a break from her career as a conference interpreter and college teacher, as she became a full-time mom. This change of pace reacquainted her with sewing and fabric-related activities, such as fabric dyeing and stenciling, stamp carving, quilting and long arming. Agnes has taught fabric surface design and indigo techniques locally and in her native Budapest. As a member of the OKC Modern Quilt Guild, she exhibits quilts annually, and frequently makes her work available for purchase.

is a young Oklahoma artist whose passion is ceramics for its utilitarian purpose. He sees art as a way to express the things about himself that he's unable to express through words. He's inspired by his experiences and the people around him. Much like sitting and shaping clay on a wheel, clay has shaped who he is.
