Happy International Family Day from your favorite redhead, the Ginger Sister, to MY sister, the Brunette Bombshell! We conquer craft shows like Beyoncé conquers the stage (with slightly less b***y shaking, but maybe just as much sparkle).

Behold, the evidence! Witness the transformation of these two more than slightly caffeinated craft warriors at the Norman Medieval Fair 2022. Exhibit A: Pre-fair, fresh-faced, and optimistic... like knights before a joust (minus the questionable hygiene). Exhibit B: Post-fair, resembling slightly singed dragons who may or may not have bartered a kidney for that last bag of unicorn sparkles.

The struggle is real, but the laughs (and questionable tan lines) are worth it. Someday, we'll drag our elusive blonde sibling into this glorious mess, but until then, you're welcome for this glimpse into our delightfully dysfunctional family fun! Yesterday morning, we grabbed a last minute shot with our friend, Michelle, tore down the tent, packed the van and my little Juke like Tetris, and made it safely home to Texas, just in time to crash on the couch with Jumping Jax Finnegan. I'll unpack later. 😴
Thank you to everyone that came out to the OKC Renaissance and Scottish Festival to see us! We'll see you next year! (I'll bring a lot more Pocket Eggs! 😏)

Pirates, dragons, and birds, oh my! This was the Ren faire where the Brunette and Ginger Sister took their traditional "before" but completely forgot to take the "after". Kevin, the pirate, got to go to his first Ren Faire, and a dragon and a bird tried unsuccessfully to make friends. Also, I only have THREE dragon eggs left and the Michael made us a beautiful business sign! Check it out!

Every year we've come to the Medieval Fair of Norman, there is at least one day with crazy weather. Yesterday it was WIND.... and not just any wind. The kind stories and legends are made of. Normally, the Brunette secures our tent with T posts and it's immovable. Alas, our roof proved to be her arch nemesis and started to give and cave in at the pressure. At one point we were holding it up so people could get out safely. (The video was taken before it got terrible) We thought all was lost until some friends came to the rescue! They loaned us a wind rated 10x20! I'll post pictures later of how it all came out. Yay for Fair Season! 😅
