🎨 Creative Corner #7: Why can’t I just match the font?
A logo may look like it uses a regular font, but the lettering could actually be custom artwork, AI-generated pixels, or part of one flattened image.
Even an SVG can contain an embedded PNG with no editable font, text, or separate letters. A similar font might get close—but it won’t always preserve the original curves, spacing, and proportions.
That’s why production-ready artwork sometimes requires tracing, cleanup, or a complete rebuild before it can print or engrave properly.
Have you ever wondered why two fonts can look almost identical--but still feel noticeably different?
