This was an amazing morning on the water with a group from Alabama. After graduating college... a tesla run around the country for a month was pretty neat to hear about. I was able to scratch a few firsts off the bucket list for them. 49.5 musky casting and a decent first walleye as well.

Late report but the walleye bites been good. Always a fun time to fish a few days with Derrick and his brother.

Just getting around to the last aim derby update. Super disappointed in the tourn out. Prefish was awsome. Lots of 28 plus fish with 30s everyday. High 40s low 50s all week leading up to the day 15 plus spots kicking out big fish everyday. 3 different programs from Shallow casting, deeper hair and trollings. Luck wasn't on our side we did a long run and only had time for about 6 spots. We riffled through 26 inchers all day and never found the right size. Best prefishing I had in a while. Not sure what I couldn't done different. Here's some pics
