Not a bad combo. and the HR1 from coming back from a trip with a fully loaded cooler. We really put the HR1 to the test to see if it could hang with some longer shots and on some bigger fish and we were impressed with the results. The dark waters skinny float line provides great stretch to really take the load off of those easy to tear off fish like Wahoo. .

Huachinango or Pacific red snappers are some of the best eating snappers out there. The meat is borderline sweet. Super fun to hunt as they don’t sit on the bottom like most snappers but are usually found mid column in thick schools over high points. A fun fish to get vortexed by as you pick out the bigger ones in the school. scored some nice ones with a on a recent trip.
