Tonight’s update: I managed to get some progress on my top after work. Finally finished the body, worked the front panel, fixed a mistake, and started on my left cup decreases. I did not get an update picture for it so I’m including the one for my striped sock that I haven’t posted yet. I finished the leg portion on this sock, marked the row for my peasant heel, and started the foot rows.

Finally felt well enough to cast on another sock. I have found that having a small and easy sock pattern to work on when I go out or have breaks at work is better than trying to cart around larger or more complex projects.Maybe by doing this I’ll finally end up with a full box/drawer of knitted socks that I’ve dreamt of. We’ll see LOL

I finished my second sock in 8 days! Woo new record for me and not to mention I’ve been slowly working on my SSAL 2024 sock from WestKnits. Since my first sock was mostly all pink I decided to theme my second sock blue as a play on Aurora’s ever changing dress thanks to Flora and Merryweather. Now onto the next one!

My haul from visiting 7th anniversary event yesterday minus the mini bottle of soak wash and the needle gauge that are not pictured here. The middle baggie was a free gift for shopping at the event. I went in wanting to buy more solids or neutrals as I seem to have a bit too much variegated/spotted yarn. I was drawn to the lovely Cantaloupe color from and knew this would be a wonder color for my next Summer Lee socks. Then I saw Poseiden by and I knew I would be leaving with more than planned. This was a happy accident and I can’t wait to see what they will become.

Forgot to post my second sock progress yesterday. I’ve been busy with work and decided last minute on Monday to join in on the surprise sock along that started yesterday so I’ve put my current projects on hold and picked out my yarn choices and got everything ready for it. I figure since those I have to pay attention I’ll save it for evening or weekend knitting and continue on my second sock during breaks or outings. Anyone else joining in on the SSAL?

Stopping here for the night. Casted on second shorty sock in colors completely opposite from the first. I managed to finish the cuff and work on a few leg rows. Question is if I should focus more on my sock to finish it before the end of the month or focus more on the other top I’m working on….hmmm

I finally got around to ordering The Sock Project from .lee.knits with whom’s patterns I’ve been obsessed with since I started my sock knitting journey a couple years ago.

I’ve also gotten some progress on my shortie sock today. I believe I’m about two rows away from starting the toe section and completing the first sock! I can definitely confirm I will not have enough Daisy’s Delights for my second sock so this will have to be a mismatched pair.
